NDA and Customer Interest Seal – new features on twago

Our programmers at twago did lots of testing and we are pleased to announce a few new features on the platform. These features increase plattform security and add more functionality both buyers and providers.

Non-Disclosure Agreement

One of the new features dedicated especially to buyers is the option to opt for a “non-disclosure agreement” (NDA) for specific projects. Using a NDA enables buyers to be on the safe side while posting confidential projects. The process is rather easy. Buyers give a short description of the project and select the NDA check box. Then, they can chose to either use the twago standard NDA, modify the twago NDA or upload their own NDA as a pdf. Service providers who are interested in the project will be asked to sign the NDA. The buyer then approves service providers having signed the NDA so they can apply for the project. This is the beginning of the acutal bidding phase. The NDA functionality helps buyers to post projects with a high level of security and confidentiality.

The Customer Interest Seal

Another novelty is placing special emphasis on projects to highlight them. Based on this function the customer can stress the importance of the project and signal that speedy handling is of importance to him. Customers who use the “Customer Interest Seal” receive more and better quotations from service providers. In case a customer wants to use the highlighting, he has the chance to select this when specifying the project description. Afterwards the particular project will be emphasized in the project list and the search results.

The icon for verified users

The last novelty is the verification of accounts for customers and service providers. Users with a verified account enjoy more trust with (potential) co-operation partners. Clients with a verified account consequently receive more high quality bids. The verification process is being arranged as follows: After clicking on “Verify user account” in your personal user profile, twago sends an e-mail to the user. The e-mail contains a list of documents, which are necessary in order to verify the user. After checking the documents, the user account will be verified.
