Adobe Flex Targeted Tutoring

Ok, here's the thing.............i already have a relatively solid base for Flash and related terminology umongst other skills... i do not discriminate when knowledge is in question and when the world of IT is concerned i've been called out numerous times as "Jack of all trades".....but never touched Flex. My knowledge of Web creation, programming and design has earned me ALOT of money these past 6 years. Since i joined the WebDev trade very young so based on the experience past and the fact that i am self-thaught in the aforementioned area i can call my self an extremely fast learner. Who has collected his experience almost exclusively trough the ever changing demands of projects completed.  Simply put to complete them, each and every one, required me to learn something new and interesting to me, its a great system of learning while earning, but money has always been a secondary objective, and i never took a project whose completion didn't require me to learn something new.........  

This Project is composed od 2 parts actually.

The first being a "minor"

- (quotes used since i have no viable correlation points to help me  determine the difficulty of the task and the appropriate price for the finished task, given im as green as they come concerning Flex -  your very first job if you are interested is to read carefully what i require and declare your price.....)

modification of a certain flex script i stumbled upon.

i own a legal copy of this script and the first modification i require is to

-remove all the parts regarding music e.g - the play and other buttons, the background player, basically everything related to music inside the script, also including TEXTNAMES like PLAYLISTS and Selected track with the terms provided - to clarify, this script in its form, design and function matches perfectly with my needs for the current project - that is a custom web based interface for  COMPLETE PRODUCT LIST and STOCK QUANTITY STATUS...........i have original files, and if in any way Flash resembles FLEX, as i heard it does, then the work so far does not require even opening the code window -again this is a shot in the blank

When the script is modified to my liking and so that it matches my application............then comes in the harder part for wich actually i came to this site,

Data i need to manipulate is in a form of InfoPath data, now what i need is that the information contained inside the infopath given is placed in the right places inside the application, basicaly what i need is to change the information source from the given XML files wich are a pain in the ass to formulate correctlly  from the form of data from InfoPath and even that wouldnt be as imperative just if i could somehow manipulate conversion of the data from InfoPath into correctly aligned and working .XML files whose creation and upload -data refreshes (daily/weekly/monthly) process would not be hard to automate at all. But i would preffer the direct way of retrieving data from the InfoPath location directly and that every new user request  would initiate automatic data syncronisation between data location and the web application - but there is alot of data in the entire infopath to be wastefull of bandwidth and initiate data refreshment on every user request........that would limit the usage of the web application to a very few at the same time............because huge amounts of bandwidth would be wasted....... The best possible solution for me would be to regulate the entire product list via .xml files and only directly (automatically syncronising with InfoPath) regulating only one given value for all the entries from the .XML, that is syncing only that one numerical value from infopth and entering it automaticaly into the .XML file so that with every syncro of current data versus outdated data is completed with only the slightest changes like that one numerical coloumn.

considering there's only one value that would benefit from sync on every user request - and the Values of those fields are low on data quantity just three-digit numbers acctually need updating and even in increased trafic even a low spec host can take alot.....atleast in my predictions..........

And the second part of the task at hand is that you do all those changes to the script wich ever ones are available concerning data update, is that u do all that while explaining me the process possibly presenting with Teamviewer and explaining to the best of the lancers ability..........

In short:

Change all the markings of music from the entire script

Make my data syncro process as easier as possible - taking into account  InfoPath (even though InfoPath can be converted even further to i dont know SQL ect.  - AS SIMPLER EASIER AS POSSIBLE

Show me and explain as u do it..............so i can learn faster than tackling this topic on my own and going through tons of documentation with painfully steeper learning curve than being shown :D .......

If i only had time i would do all of this my self and if u know flex very good i may (or again may have not) have given u alot of the problem solved logically providing with numerous options of possible solutions but again maybe all of the stuff i wrote up there is complete rubbish i just dont know and I'm doing alot of  thinking on how the application would work on principle not even having a clue what is possible and what is not........
