Description
We need Android application as display layer over existing XML app.
Required features are three:
- get / request XML page over HTTPS (or POST some data to page)
- process XML and render page (see example)
- on demand scan the barcode through the camera
Please, see workflow and example.
Notes:
- Server side exists. We need just Android app.

Hi, I'm very interested in the project, but to make a serious bid I have some technical questions: 1) Are the elements in the XML response example all elements to be supported? 2) Are there specific requirements regarding the screen design? 3) Which kind of barcodes should be scanned, EAN-13 or ...? 4) Will the elements in the XML response have IDs to identify values in POST or how should the POST request data be formatted?

Hi eyetea.biz, thanks. 1) yes - just buttons, plain text (or probably simple HTML, like tables), form input, barcode scanner input and submit button. 2) no 3) EAN-13 and Code 128 is minumum. But more is better and flexible for us. Take a look at http://code.google.com/p/zxing/, it will might help you easily add support for other formats. 4) Good point. Yes, it might / will have.
