Permalinks / URLs get extra attention by both search engines and users. Make sure you put your main keyword in the URL. URL length should not be more than 35 characters and should not contain more than 4 hyphens(-).

Conecting the pages – Internal / External Links

Internal Links are most useful for estabhlishing site architecture and spreading link juice. Always put relevant links on the pages limiting to maximum 6 links per page. Text links are preferred over image links by search engines. To support your content always use external links to other websites. The external links should always open in a new window.

A sitemap is a list of pages of the website. it lists the numbers of pages and complete internal link structure of the website. Sitemap ensures that search engines learn about your entire website.

Creating Apt Content

According to a study made recently, longer content is appreciated by the internet. The web pages which are displayed among the top results in a web search have much longer content than those which are presented towards the end. The perfect length for a web page is around one thousand and five hundred words. Another important rule is to optimise the images correctly. When images are optimised, a high amount of traffic can be received quickly.
