Today at the twago office: UPcload

Filed by team twago on November 26, 2010

We had a very interesting visitor today: Kevin from UPcload was here to measure our body sizes. Why? The UPcload service measures your body size through a webcam for a simple reason. Many online clothing shops need to raise there prices because lots of their customers order clothes in the wrong sizes. Then, customers send the things back and need to reorder. This can be avoided through the use of UPcload, because the service measures every relevant part in order to calculate the right size of your pants or shirts. All you need is a white wall and a PC with webcam. Kevin showed us how the system works and through our data he and his team will be able to do more testing and make the measurement more precise. UPcload takes some full-size pictures of you in different positions (arms spread, sideways, etc.). It then calculates all the relevant sizes. We curious to see UPcload in online shops in the future. Visit our Facebook page for more pictures.
