Happy Valentine and… love the programmers!

Filed by team twago on February 14, 2013

Today is Valentine’s Day. Everybody knows it. Millions of people worldwide celebrate it. Only few know that this day is also “I love free software day”. Everyone is using free software on a daily basis. For example every web browser or any other open source is free software. If you are starting a career as web worker, free software will help you a lot. On this special day everyone can say a small “thank you” to all the programmers of the world, who spent their time to create a free program or application.

Free Software 2013

Think about how many free apps you have on your smartphone…. 5? 10? Or maybe 20? What you can do is, you can show your love to free software and your appreciation to all open source programmers on several ways. The easiest one is a tweet with the hashtag (#ilovefs). If you are a blogger, you can write a blog post, like we did. If you have some programmer or developer around you, just hug him or invite for a drink after work. These people make our life easier!

We did show our love to the twago IT crew … offer them their beloved energy drink… to let them work even better 😉
