MATLAB QUANT LIBRARY

Together with CKW's asset optimization and trading business, the Matlab code base for market simulation, pricing, and analysis was growing over the years. We distilled the commonly used data transformation and calculation functionality into a well-designed and stable Matlab library, which allowed the quantitative analysts to refactor their scripts and improved overall code quality.

DATAWAREHOUSE

CKW's Oracle data warehouse was not able to provide the data structure and performance needed for reporting. We designed data views that encapsulated the core business logic, deployed as in-memory columnar data store at the CKW's Tableau server, and built rich and dynamic Tableau reports that show detailed information about trading positions, financial performance and risks.

MONITORING SYSTEM FOR STRUCTURED PRODUCTS

We built a spider to fetch all structured products available, later we used the bloomberg information service to monitor all price changes. Those changes are tested against self written algorithms to discover misspriceings. A big amount of KPI's and charts are available in a ExtJS application called "aquarium" giving the traders all needed information.
