As a hobby I like to travel and make videos with memories from where I go with my family.
I know a little bit about shooting video and video editing.
I learned a lot from youtube tutorials and still learning on the field.
I shot with Panasonic GH5 and lens: Leica 42.5mm 1.2, Leica 12mm f1.4 and Leica 8-18mm F2.8-4
Aerial shots with Phantom 4 Pro.
At Gh5 the color profile Cinelike D with sharpness -5, Noise reduction -5 and saturation -5
Also I use a ND4stop+polarized filter from Breakthrough Photography.
At the drone also a flat profile with sharpness and saturation lowered. Also nd and polarized filters from polarpro.
Settings I came across on the web and use them for myself.
After I check the footage on the pc, it looks nice and well exposed but here comes the problem.
Some footage from the drone I increase the saturation and a little bit of sharpness and it looks OK.
But the footage shot with the nocticron 42.5 it's way unsaturated and some shots, depending on the daylight can't get the nice colors back.
So I get this issue that I can't match the color of multiple shots into premiere pro timeline. Meaning that every lens has it's way of coloring.
I was thinking of puting a couple of files into a dropbox account and with teamviewer or something similar I can watch your workflow on how you color correct/grade the shots, with explanation maybe I can train my eye to notice the problems in the color and how to fix them in the future.
Like a live tutorial and some tips on how to better use my video gear.
