Needed skills: mipi-dsi bus, i2c, linux kernel 3 display and touch screen driver programming, electronics, logic analyzer.
I need to attach a different MIPI-DSI display (COM43H4N10ULC) to an existing MIPS based microcontroller unit (Ingenic Newton2Plus). The Newton2Plus is running a linux kernel 3 / Android 5, with a display driver for a (smaller) MIPI-DSI display (E1392AM1), which is working.
The new display differs in timing and supply voltage, which is to be configured within the driver. Therefore experience in using a logic analyzer will be crucial.
The necessary changes and considerations shall be documented, to enable us, to make these changes by ourselves if needed.
We can provide the connectable displays (current and new one) and a development board with the microcontroller, as well as the software environment to compile the kernel and test the displays.
Also the driver for the touch screen of the current display which is attached via I2C shall be adapted to the touch screen of the new display.
Time frame is until midth May.
