Description

Silver stallions ltd

Silver stallion is a corporate social responsibility company incorporated under the Nigeria CAC to carry out an education assurance scheme. The scheme is aimed at sponsoring the basic tuition fees of Nigerian kids after a compulsory 6 years maturation period.

These kids are expected to enroll into the scheme with a token of 50,000 naira. The company thereafter takes on the necessary registration and data filling procedures after which a unique registration I.D is given to the child to enable it take advantage of the scheme after the compulsory maturation period.

Who can benefit from the scheme?

For most Nigerian, Primary education begins at the age of six. Students spend six years in primary school and graduate with a school-leaving certificate originally termed First School Leaving Certificate. The scheme is aimed at sponsoring children from their primary school through to the completion of their O-level education. To this cause, only children between the ages of 6-12 years are eligible for enrollment into the scheme.

How do I get registered?

To get enlisted on the scheme all you need do is obtain a PIN from the designated banks, log on to EAS portal to enter relevant details. The receipt showing you have been entered for the scheme is printed.

NB:  The Education assurance scheme maturation period is 6years after which candidates are contacted by schools selected.

NATURE OF EAS REGISTRATION PORTAL

NB: This is intended to guide web designer and programmer on what is preferable. However professional advice is well applauded.

The portal should be built with a good picture swap feature showing the pictures of those sponsored earlier on the scheme, adverts of our core sponsors, affiliates and other relevant side attractions. The site must display relevant information about the scheme, how to get on, why you must get on, details on how it works, schools featured on the scheme e.t.c

WHAT THE PORTAL LOOKS LIKE TO NEWLY REGISTERING KIDS

Each kid registered on this platform automatically gets a personal profile which can be accessed at anytime using I.D and password in other to access information about the progress of kids on the scheme. However guardians are contacted via messages and emails when maturation is attained.

On first visit to the site, you encounter forms of the kind below:

NAME

PIN

NB:  The name must correspond with the name of the person who purchased the pin from the bank. This is suggested to ensure that PIN theft is avoided as possible.

The PIN is obtained from designated banks. These banks are expected to be able to log on to a database containing the PIN using a user specific administrative password to access this room. We recommend that this portal be able to do a count of PIN downloaded daily and from which banks this is done.

The banks access this PIN with the buyer’s name.  This name is further stored for future verification on site when proper registration is to be carried out. By this we refer to the table seen above. The site will not provide full form until a recognized name and PIN is entered.

After these details are supplied, a full registration form is opened…

DATA MANAGEMENT

Information on database is to be managed thus,

PORTAL -A: Pin registration portal

We intend to contract the PIN processing arm to a sister company however this portal stands as a PIN verification arm in that every IN purchased must be re-entered here by company for further verification on proper enrollment. This means that as company gives out PIN to customers, it comes to log in the details here. This data will be retrieved when kid is to be registered on portal B as PIN and NAME will be on request.

PORTAL-B: FORM FILLING/ VALIDATION OF PIN:

This portal shows the following details:

  • The number of PIN that defied verification and PIN used and by whom?
  • The number of children enrolled into the scheme and their personal details.

The enrollment into the scheme is grouped into year as shown below:

 YEAR 2001                                                YEAR 2002                                             YEAR 2003

ADA I.D:11001001                           AUSTIN I.D:12390802                    DARE I.D: 10012303

IFY I.D:11412701                             LAZARUS I.D:12987102                  WOLE I.D: 90874203

UCHE I.D:12342301                        UCHENA I.D:14567802                    KUNLE I.D: 09980703

Information is structured in such a way that clicking in the I.D links up to personal data f each registered child.

Portal- B should be able to out group I.Ds which have completed the maturation stage as well as show a breakdown of the number of people who enrolled on the scheme each year.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

Considering the rigors associated with manual banking transactions, we recommend the integration of technology such as this to enable a more efficient payment method. We will be using the INTERSWITCH online payment mode.
