A cleaning company seeks to develop a proprietary system to manage information about company line personnel (data entry and scanned documents) and details about these employees’ time sheets (working hours, total costs). The data will have a few key clients: Site Managers / HR Managers (data entry), Operations Managers (set cost targets and checking data entry), Operations Director (set cost targets and checking data entry), HR Director (checking data entry), Finance (receive uploaded information about employees into accounting system).
This system needs to collect daily data, including scanned documents, from various physical sites through the internet. It should house the data in a database that can present the data in various forms. We want a simple, user-friendly interface that will be fun to use. We prefer a system that includes a thumbprint time clock system for tracking our employees.
This system should be able to present personnel data to the HR department for review, correction and approval. If the data is not approved, it could be sent back to the sites for correction. Once data is approved, the HR department will need to print various documents using this data. In addition, the data must be used to prepare downloads for uploading various data into our accounting systems.
Importantly, various views of the data must be made available. Clearly, this including views of time sheet management, such as tracking costs throughout the period month.
