I need a simple stand alone windows 7/8 program to control a Nikon D800 camera (tethered shooting) using GPS waypoints to trigger the camera.
Specifcically, I'd like a python program with a simple UI showing an aerial photograph as the display background (photo must be available offline). I'll load a text file with coordinate locations for photographs. These points will be then displayed on top of the aerial photo. As I reach each coordinate (waypoint) usb or bluetooth GPS data will trigger the camera via its USB port. When a picture is sucessfully taken the corresponding point on the UI screen should change color to show completed work.
If this is successfully and efficiently implemented more features will be added later.
