The basic concept is that I need to create an App that medical students, residents, and physicians could access. The App would have a specialty the physician is looking for ex) orthopedics and then the next screen would have a map that the prospective physician would click on indicating the area of the US that the physician would like to live with the orthopedic specialty available. The map would then pull up hospitals in that area of the US and would have 3 basic facts about that hospital or clinic.
For instance, if I was an Orthopedic resident looking for a clinic opening in Denver, I would click my specialty of Orthopedics and then click on the map around Denver and all the prospective clinics and surgery centers would pop up with 3 facts about each. (Since residents are coming out with a lot of debt these days I think a few important facts might deal with money earned or sign on bonuses.) The sequence might look like this:
1)Chris, Creighton School of Medicine
2) Specialty: Orthopedics
3) Area of US: Denver
Hospitals in that area looking for physicians:
1) Panorama Orthopedics
a. Sign-on Bonus: $100,000
b. Base Pay: $400,000
c. 5-year contract
And then the potential physician would have the ability to Inquire about Panorama and speak with HR or the clinical representative. Basically the App would connect hospitals and physicians sort of like an Eharmony for Physicians and hospitals.
