Description

We are looking to design a service based application that will transmit a Windows PC Desktop in a similar way to viewing it through applications like VNC or Logmein using TCPIP operating within a specific format (ONVIF).

The format would be using an ONVIF format and allowing it be viewed over a network, acting as a standard IP Security Camera

The aim is to produce a discreet application that will allow viewing of a desktop using another PC or tablet running standard third party software..

ONVIF is an open industry forum for the development of a global standard for the interface of IP-based physical security products.

ONVIF is committed to the adoption of IP in the security market. The ONVIF specification will ensure interoperability between products regardless of manufacturer. The cornerstones of ONVIF are: • Standardization of communication between IP-based physical security • Interoperability between IP-based physical security products regardless of manufacturer • Open to all companies and organizations

The ONVIF specification defines a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices including automatic device discovery, video streaming and intelligence metadata.

The software being used to view the remote screen would be compatible with programs like milesight VMS lite application. http://www.milesight.com/download.asp?BigClassName=Video-Software. So no viewer development is required only the ability to transmit what is happening live on the pc screen without any negative inpact on the host pc.

The aim is to make a PC share/transit its screen output like an IP Security Camera to allow recording, monitoring and playback in sequence with live Video footage recorded on other feeds..

This program would require a simple installation method, to run as a system service and to support a licencing method.

The requirement for this is urgent. So would be looking at a quick completion of first phase and testing.
