We are being charged a lot in fees when our customers choose to pay with credit cards. Due to this we are often persuading customers to pay through other forms such as a bank transfer or cheque so we are not charged these fees. This is taken up a lot of admin time and it would reduce admin time to take payment via the website and create automated emails rather than manual email confirmations.
To make it cost effective to use the website booking form we would like to add 1.99% fee when customers use any form of credit card. The 1.99% should be applied on all transactions on both the initial booking page (on both deposit and full balance) and the balance payment page.
Amends to the initial booking page, balance payment page and automated emails to be completed to ensure additional fees are transparent to our customers.
We want to add the 1.99% fee to all credit cards payments and make it clear to the audience that a fee of 1.99% will be applied when using credit cards.
