Description

Fellow programmers, I'm using Phonegap to develop an app for iOS. This way I can use Javascript, HTML and CSS. The app has to establish three connections with a socket server: one TCP and two UDP. The TCP connection is done by HTML5 websockets. Since HTML5 websockets only support TCP, I need a Phonegap plugin in Objective C that can create the UDP connections. Eventually I need to be able to write something like the following Javascript code: var UDPsocket = new UDPsocket('192.168.1.2', '8000'); UDPsocket.onopen = function(){console.log('Socket connected!');}; UDPsocket.onmessage = function(msg){console.log('Socket message!' + msg);}; UDPsocket.onerror = function(msg){console.log('Socket error! '+ msg);}; UDPsocket.send("some data here"); UDPsocket.onclose = function(){ console.log('Socket closed'); }; I already found some existing (but a little bit outdated) stuff. Now I need someone with Objective C knowledge to transform it to UDP and get it to work. https://github.com/purplecabbage/phonegap-plugins/tree/master/iPhone/GapSocket https://github.com/darkseed/cocoaasyncsocket http://docs.phonegap.com/en/2.7.0/guide_plugin-development_index.md.html Hoping that someone can help me out with this! Greetings, Koen
