We have an application in python which is compiled to a binary exe file on windows. The application is generally agnostic to operating systems since it fully written in python. Basically, the compilation process needs to be adopted to a mac operating systems.
These are the things to do:
* Adopt the user settings directories, which are initialized at the startup for temporary data
* adopt the ffmpeg library wrapper, which calls ffmpeg expecting windows.
* create a virtual machine, which can be used later for testing of new releases.
