We need a virtual USB host controller driver for Windows 7, which makes it possible to virtually plug a USB device into the PC. From Windows it should work transparent, so it shows the "Installing New Hardware" bubble and ect., when a virtual device is connected. The goal is that we in software can connect a USB device, and feed the data which would normally flow in and out of the USB hardware host controller.
We are not USB Windows experts, but we have work with USB on embedded platforms, so if there is any terms in the description which are not correct, we hope you get the essence of the project.
1. A virtual USB host controller driver.
2. Some app. or method for testing the driver.
The above is only required to work on Windows 7 (32/64) at first.
Please ask, if we need to elaborate.
