[obscured] has developed a solar PV estimating application for consumers located at Solar.[obscured]. This tool is designed to provide an estimate of the development cost and long term savings derived from rooftop solar. The purpose of the website is to both inform and encourage homeowners. It brings together prospective solar consumers with installers in their area. It generates sales leads which are sold to local installers and contractors.
The application was developed in PHP. It consists of a core API that performs the estimating calculations, a database of consumers and suppliers, a payment application linked to Authorize.net, a parallax wrapper and an ancillary Wordpress blog.
The website is in final testing and due to be launched soon as is. Concurrently, we are seeking a developer to create version 2 of this site based on user input and testing results.
YOU MAY BID ON ALL OR PART OF THIS PROJECT
Specifically we are seeking a developer or developers to do the following:
1. Revise the graphic wrapper of the site to reflect a cleaner, more contemporary look.
2. Install schema markup coding for SEO
3. Revise the API to include additional variables
4. Revise the GUI to enhance information flow
5. Add a function to provide free leads to installers using a promo code
The revisions may be delivered in phases, with the graphic modifications coming first. The end product should be a fully tested and functional revision of Solar.[obscured] and a revised API, installed on our Amazon server and should include a brief training session for AltWays management as well as written documentation for maintenance, updates and integration of the API into other websites.
To bid on this project, please provide 5 or more samples of your work as well as three or more references. Based on the quality of work and suitability, [obscured] will create a short list of developers. We will then provide more detail regarding the nature of the changes prior to acceptance of financial bids. The ideal developer for this project will have capabilities to perform all 5 revisions, will have extensive experience with PHP and will have the skills to advise best practices.
Criteria for selection will include proficiency in PHP, graphic examples and ability to deliver in a reasonable timeframe. To submit an application to bid, please send links to your work along with references to [OBSCURED].
